The A.I.R. mission is founded on the principle of providing a professional overview of a student's strengths and areas to improve. My expectation is that A.I.R. will meet this goal through the publishing of a high quality report. I support the goal to honor academic integrity.

"Higher Education professionals have been experiencing collective anxiety about academic integrity since the mainstreaming of AI technology. I think the A.I.R. initiative is not only a timely response to this anxiety, but a hopeful glimpse into a future where the business sector will stand in solidarity with educational institutions to promote academic integrity and produce intellectually responsible citizens. A.I.R. is a monumental step in the right direction for society!"

"One of my most impactful educational experiences was writing a lengthy history paper for The Concord Review in 10th grade. If I lived in a world where AI could write that paper in short order, I do not think I would have the appetite for writing history and would not appreciate the full beauty of research. Technology can change the world for the better, but sometimes for the worse, so as educators we ought to be cautious with what we allow at schools."

"Regarding the proliferation of generative AI and other technical tools, independent writers should be acknowledged and their creation should be supported. We really need to encourage more writers to create independently."

"I mentor students to prepare for academic writing competitions, namely the John Locke Competition, Harvard International Review (HIR), and Concord Review. While mentors, students, and institutions must maintain high academic integrity standards at all times, the great strides made in AI will likely require much more in-depth vetting as the technology rapidly develops. The Academic Integrity Report is pioneering in this exciting and ever-increasingly necessary space. I lend my support to this venture and its board!"
